Hi, my name is Jennifer and I work as the social media specialist in the corporate office of The Original Log Cabin Homes. If you are following us on Facebook or any of our other social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, Google plus, LinkedIn, or Pinterest you now know who is behind bringing you all those Original Log Cabin Homes updates and photos. If you are not already following us on social media I encourage you to do so now…
I have been a lover of log homes and nature since I was seven and can remember visiting my great-aunt Loraine in her Cabin every summer and during the Thanksgiving Holiday. She lived in the Mountains of Tennessee and I would mark out the days on my calendar till I got to travel from Alabama to visit her in her log home. She was a woman of true joy, faith, and love. The nearest neighbor was around 3 miles away and outside she owned several cats, a dog, a goat and a turkey (although I’m quite sure we ate that turkey one Thanksgiving). One week every summer she would keep me and my twin sister, Jessica, and take us to vacation bible school to make sure seeds of truth were planted in our hearts. She cooked the best breakfast and we would be awakened by the smell of bacon every morning during our stay. I have my best childhood memories with her in that little log cabin.
The truth is that an Original Log Cabin Home isn’t just a house it is a home and a lifestyle where the warmest memories are made. On this blog. we are going to keep our log home enthusiasts updated with our company news, announcements, events, photos, floor plans, decorating tips, and give you a taste of what log home living is all about. We also want to connect with you and answer your questions by bringing you topics you want to hear about. You can sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of our website and email me your questions to email@example.com. I look forward to walking along side of you as you make your dream of owning an Original Log Cabin Home a reality. We’ve been helping people get back to nature since 1987.
Until next time,
